Christian Elliss, a 6'2" right inside linebacker from Idaho, joined the New England Patriots after being claimed off waivers from Philadelphia on December 8, 2023. In 2024, he appeared in 16 games with five starts, recording 72 tackles (37 solo, 35 assists), 11/2 sacks, 5 passes defensed, 1 interception, 1 forced fumble and 1 fumble recovery. During the 2025 season, Elliss became a starting linebacker and accumulated 1.0 sack and 5 passes defensed while tallying a career-high 18 special teams tackles. He is a two-time All-Big Sky honoree from his college days and is entering his sixth NFL season. His father, Luther Elliss, was a first-round pick in 1995 and two-time Pro Bowl defensive lineman.
