Amari Gainer is a left inside linebacker who attended Florida State for five seasons (2018-22) before transferring to North Carolina in 2023. Standing 6'3" and weighing 235 pounds, Gainer signed with the Las Vegas Raiders as a rookie free agent on April 29, 2024. He appeared in all 17 games during his first season, primarily contributing on special teams with 5 special teams tackles, and made his NFL debut against the L.A. Chargers on September 8. The Raiders released him on August 25, 2025, and the New England Patriots signed him to their practice squad on December 17, 2025.
