Mehki Butler is a 6'3", 320-pound right guard from Omaha, Nebraska. He spent two seasons at Iowa Western (2019-20), earning NJCAA First Team All-America honors in 2020, before transferring to Arkansas State for four seasons (2021-24). At Arkansas State, Butler started 38 games primarily at left guard and blocked for offenses that averaged 157 rushing yards per game in 2024 and 148 in 2023. The Patriots signed him as a rookie free agent on May 12, 2024. Butler spent the 2025 season moving between New England's practice squad, released September 11 and re-signed December 8, and enters his second season with the organization.
