Bio

Lorenz Metz is a 6'9", 330-pound left tackle with three years of professional experience. Originally signed by Chicago as a rookie free agent on May 6, 2023, he spent part of training camp before being released. Metz subsequently signed with Tampa Bay on April 15, 2024, and remained with the organization through the 2025 season on their practice squad. He joined the New England Patriots practice squad on January 13, 2026, as an International Pathway player. A product of Cincinnati, where he played five seasons (2018–22) and appeared in 39 games with 26 starts at multiple positions, Metz earned All-AAC First Team honors at right guard in 2018.
