Matthew Stafford, a 6'3" quarterback from Dallas, was selected first overall by Detroit in 2009 out of Georgia. He spent 12 seasons with the Lions before joining the Rams in 2021. During the 2025 season, Stafford completed 454 of 716 passes for 5,643 yards and 52 touchdowns. Across his career, he has started all 224 regular season games played, accumulating 60,352 passing yards and 380 touchdowns with a 91.3 passer rating. He ranks 10th all-time in passing yards and 10th in touchdown passes, and became the fifth quarterback in NFL history to surpass 15,000 passing yards with multiple teams.
