Nate Valcarcel is a 6'1", 192-pound safety who completed a four-year collegiate career at Northern Illinois, appearing in 52 games with 25 starts. Over his time with the Huskies, he accumulated 113 tackles, six interceptions, and two fumble recoveries. In 2024, his first season as a starter, Valcarcel started all games at free safety and led the team with three interceptions returned for 57 yards while recording 52 total tackles and earning First-team All-MAC honors. The Rams signed him as an undrafted free agent and he currently holds a two-year contract.
