Steve Avila is a left guard for the Los Angeles Rams who was drafted 36th overall in the second round of the 2023 NFL Draft. A TCU product, he served as a team captain during the Horned Frogs' College Football National Championship season and became the school's first consensus All-American since 2015. In his rookie season, Avila started all 17 regular season games and played 1,094 snaps, the most by a Rams rookie since Cooper Kupp in 2017 and second-most among 2023 draft class rookie offensive linemen. He recorded a second-best pass blocking grade among rookie linemen and was voted to the PWFA All-Rookie Team. Through 28 starts over two seasons, Avila has logged 1,698 total snaps and appeared in three postseason contests.
