Background & career
Abraham Lucas is a right tackle for the Seattle Seahawks, selected 72nd overall in the third round of the 2022 NFL Draft out of Washington State. In his first season, he started all 16 games at right tackle alongside Charles Cross, forming the first rookie tackle duo to start a team's first 15 games together since the 1970 merger. After missing most of 2023 to a knee injury that limited him to six games, Lucas returned in 2024 to start seven games. Entering his fifth season, he started all 20 games during Seattle's 2025 Super Bowl LX-winning campaign, part of an offensive line that allowed only 27 sacks, tied for fifth fewest in the NFL.
