Tyler Simmons is a 6'3", 278-pound defensive tackle from Windermere, FL, where he played for Windermere Prep under his father Brian Simmons. A three-star recruit rated by recruiting services, Simmons earned two first-team all-district honors. During his junior and senior seasons, he recorded 10 sacks across 10 games. His father played linebacker at North Carolina (1994-97) as a consensus All-American before being selected in the first round of the 1998 NFL Draft and playing for the Cincinnati Bengals (1998-2006) and New Orleans Saints (2007).
