Darrion Henry-Young is a 6'4", 295-pound defensive tackle from Cincinnati, Ohio, who attended Princeton High School. A four-star recruit ranked 154th nationally in the 2020 class, he began his college career at Ohio State, appearing in two games during the 2020 season and recording two tackles, a sack, and a tackle for loss. After two games at Ohio State in 2021, Henry-Young transferred to Kentucky, where he played five games in 2022 and made his debut against Youngstown State with a tackle and sack. In 2023, he appeared in eight games for the Wildcats, posting 10 tackles including 2.0 for loss, 1.5 sacks, and a forced fumble before a season-ending injury. He spent the 2025 season at Coastal Carolina, playing all 13 games with eight total tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, and one QB hurry in the Independence Bowl. Henry-Young transferred to Virginia as a graduate student.
