Will Love is a true freshman placekicker for Virginia Tech from Spartanburg, South Carolina. A three-star recruit, Love earned All-American honors from the Maxwell Football Club and was named the nation's top-ranked placekicker by recruiting services. At Spartanburg High School, he started 49 consecutive games and compiled 305 career points. During his 2025 senior season, he made five field goals and 41 extra points while averaging 40 yards on 32 punts. Love holds the five longest kicks in school history, including a 54-yarder and three from 51 yards, and kicked a 51-yard field goal as time expired against Dorman on October 10, 2025. His older brother, John, currently serves as the Hokies' placekicker.
