Joe Lott is a 6'3", 192-pound safety from Mobile, Alabama, who attended UMS-Wright Prep School. A three-star recruit in the 2024 class, Lott redshirted his freshman year in 2024, appearing in four games with five tackles and 14 snaps on defense. In 2025 as a redshirt freshman, he saw significant backup snaps and one start against Louisiana, totaling 16 tackles and 0.5 tackles for loss across 263 defensive snaps. He intercepted two passes during the season, returning one 53 yards for a touchdown in Troy's victory at ULM, and allowed receptions on 54.5 percent of targets. Lott currently returns as a sophomore for the Trojans.
