Knai Cook is a free safety for the Troy Trojans standing 6'0" and weighing 203 pounds. The Duncan, South Carolina native attended Byrnes High School, where he recorded 71 tackles as a senior and earned all-state and all-region honors. He also broke up 12 passes that season and forced four turnovers. Cook played two seasons at Charleston Southern before transferring to Troy. In 2025 as a sophomore, he posted 55 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, and forced three fumbles while earning Second-Team All-Conference honors from league head coaches. He also broke up two passes and registered a quarterback hurry.
