Bio

Jack Esparza is a tight end for Texas Tech who stands 6'4" and weighs 245 pounds. The Austin native attended St. Michael's Catholic, where he recorded 33 receptions for 785 yards and 14 touchdown catches as a senior while earning TAPPS Division II second team All-State honors at defensive back and first team All-District selections at both wide receiver and defensive back. He redshirted in 2022, then moved from wide receiver to tight end in 2023 as a redshirt freshman. After seeing no action in 2024, Esparza made his collegiate debut during the 2025 season, appearing in three games including matchups against UCF, West Virginia, and the Big 12 Championship versus BYU.
