Zaid Lott is a true freshman quarterback for Syracuse, standing 6'4" and weighing 225 pounds. Hailing from Kannapolis, North Carolina, he attended Providence Day School, where he earned three-star recognition from recruiting services. As a senior, Lott threw for 2,497 yards and 35 touchdowns while adding 708 rushing yards and 13 rushing touchdowns. Across his prep career, he accumulated nearly 6,000 passing yards, 993 rushing yards, and 97 total touchdowns (67 passing, 20 rushing).
