Danny Lauter is a quarterback who transferred to Syracuse in January 2026 from Georgetown. The 6'3", 220-pound passer from Greenwich, Connecticut, started 14 games for the Hoyas, completing 263-of-430 passes for 2,912 yards and 19 touchdowns through his redshirt junior season. In 2025, Lauter started the first three games, going 51-of-84 for 613 yards and five touchdowns, including a 314-yard, two-touchdown performance against Lafayette on 9/13. During his 2024 redshirt sophomore year, he started 10 games and threw for 1,871 yards and 11 touchdowns, posting a season-high 343 yards with two scores versus Columbia.
