Steve Angeli is a redshirt senior quarterback who transferred to Syracuse from Notre Dame in May 2025. At Notre Dame, he appeared in 21 games across three seasons, including contests in the College Football Playoff semifinals and championship game. He completed 58-of-80 passes for 772 yards and 10 touchdowns with one interception, adding 17 rushing attempts for 36 yards. In his first season at Syracuse, Angeli won the starting job and led the nation in passing through four weeks, compiling 1,317 yards and 10 touchdowns before suffering a season-ending injury in the Clemson game on September 20. Across both schools, he has completed 156-of-236 passes for 2,089 yards and 20 touchdowns with three interceptions.
