Joseph Filardi is a quarterback for Syracuse who hails from Dix Hills, New York and attended Half Hollow Hills West High School. A dual-sport athlete, he participates in both football and lacrosse for the Orange. During his redshirt year in 2025, Filardi appeared in four games with three starts. He completed 31 of 65 passes for 226 yards and one touchdown while recording three interceptions. On the ground, he carried 30 times for 87 yards and one rushing touchdown.
