Donte Utu is a safety for Stanford Cardinal. The 6'1", 180-pound redshirt freshman from Mānoa, Hawaii attended Punahou School in Honolulu, where he was named a unanimous top-20 recruit in Hawaii and ranked as high as No. 13 by national outlets. At Punahou, Utu compiled nearly 140 tackles over his final two seasons with seven interceptions and 14 pass breakups. As a senior, he added 12 receptions for 116 yards and three touchdowns while also making the varsity basketball team. During his 2025 freshman season, Utu appeared in two games, including Stanford's season opener in Hawaii on August 23 and the season finale against Notre Dame on November 29, where he recorded his first collegiate tackle in the fourth quarter.
