Chase Cahoon is a true freshman linebacker at Stanford from Los Gatos, California. He played at Saint Francis High School in Mountain View, where he earned four varsity letters and served as a two-time team captain. A three-star recruit ranked as high as No. 75 among inside linebackers nationally by national outlets, Cahoon recorded 263 total tackles (105 solo, 158 assisted), 21.5 tackles-for-loss, and 2.0 sacks during his high school career. He earned Cal-Hi Sports All-State Sophomore honors and was named WCAL Football Sophomore of the Year in 2023. Cahoon helped lead his team to the CCS 2025 Football Championship Open/Division I Playoffs.
