Zach Johnson is a 6'3", 230-pound inside linebacker for Stanford from Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. He transferred to the Cardinal after two seasons at Idaho, where he recorded 83 tackles in 2024. In his redshirt junior year (2025), Johnson appeared in all 12 games with one start, accumulating 28 total tackles, three tackles-for-loss, two sacks, one fumble recovery, and one pass defended. He notched six tackles and a sack in games against SMU and Florida State, and recovered a fumble on the final play against San Jose State to secure the victory.
