Zahbari Sandy is a 6'2", 208-pound defensive back from Washington, D.C. who graduated from St. John's College in 2023. He was South Carolina's first public commit for the 2023 recruiting class and carried a three-star rating. Sandy appeared in two games during his 2023 freshman season against Furman and Georgia before redshirting. He suffered an ACL injury during a spring scrimmage in 2024 and missed that entire season. Sandy sustained a second ACL injury in July 2025 that required surgery, causing him to miss the 2025 season. He has been named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll in multiple years and is a sport and entertainment management major.
