Jaquel Holman is a 6'1", 214-pound nickel back from Blackville, South Carolina, who attended Blackville-Hilda High School. As a senior in 2024, he rushed 153 times for 1,528 yards and 16 touchdowns while recording 38 tackles including 6.0 tackles for loss, earning all-state honors and the South Carolina Region 4-A Player of the Year award. Holman joined South Carolina in January 2025 and appeared in 11 games as a freshman, primarily on special teams. He returned seven kickoffs for 149 yards at a 21.3-yard average, including a 27-yard return against Ole Miss, while recording three defensive tackles including 0.5 tackles for loss.
