Jack Merryman is a 6'4", 235-pound tight end from Montgomery, Texas, who plays for the Sam Houston Bearkats. He lettered at Montgomery HS under head coach Grant Cooper, where he played quarterback and compiled over 2,800 yards of offense with 40 touchdowns as a senior. An academic all-district selection, Merryman is the son of Melissa and Jack Merryman and has an older brother, Dalton, who played college football at Houston, Texas Tech, Blinn College, and Tarleton.
