Brock Kuhl is a 6'4", 250-pound tight end from Lorena, Texas, who transfers to Sam Houston as a redshirt freshman. At Lorena High School under Head Coach Kevin Johnson, Kuhl was a two-year varsity starter and letterman earning First Team All-Conference, First Team All-Area, and Second Team All-State honors. During his junior season, he recorded 28 receptions for 520 yards and eight touchdowns; as a sophomore, he had nine receptions for 140 yards and three scores. He led Lorena to a conference and sectional championship with a regional runner-up finish. Kuhl attended Florida Atlantic, where he played in one game during the 2025 season before utilizing a redshirt.
