Ayden Wilhelm is a freshman quarterback at Rice standing 6'1" and weighing 188 pounds. From Lee's Summit, Missouri, Wilhelm attended Blue Springs South, where he earned 2025 conference Offensive Player of the Year honors and two All-Suburban Gold selections. He guided the Jaguars to the third round of the MSHSAA playoffs in both his junior and senior seasons and was named KC Examiner Player of the Year in 2024. Wilhelm finished his high school career with 5,362 passing yards and 1,872 rushing yards while accounting for 74 total touchdowns. As a senior, he threw for 2,061 yards and 29 touchdowns while adding 600 rushing yards and five scores. Wilhelm joined Rice for the 2026 season.
