The 6'0", 200-pound signal caller from Spring, Texas, played high school football at Klein Oak, where he threw for 1,363 yards with 13 passing touchdowns as a senior and rushed for 724 yards with six rushing touchdowns. At Kennesaw State, he redshirted as a freshman before making his debut against FIU.
