Jacurri Brown is a 6'4", 227-pound quarterback from Valdosta, Georgia, who arrives at Rice as a transfer from UCF. A four-star recruit in the 2022 class, Brown played 462 snaps across 21 games at Miami and UCF, accumulating 1,727 yards of total offense. He has thrown for 906 yards with six touchdowns and interceptions while adding 821 rushing yards on 137 carries with eight touchdowns. At UCF in 2025, Brown appeared in three contests, rushing for 142 yards and two scores while passing for 97 yards and one touchdown, including a 106-yard, two-touchdown performance against N.C. A&T.
