Jon Grimmett is a 6'5", 235-pound tight end from Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, currently on the Purdue roster as a redshirt freshman. A consensus three-star recruit, he was ranked No. 3 at his position and No. 28 overall in Oklahoma by recruiting services. In high school, Grimmett caught 36 passes for 316 yards and 12 touchdowns while earning Prep Zone All-State and 3A District Tight End of the Year honors. He also played safety and helped lead Pauls Valley to the state playoffs during his senior year. Grimmett redshirted during the 2025 season without appearing in games.
