Cooper McCutchan is a true freshman tight end at Purdue from Cincinnati, Ohio, where he attended Archbishop Moeller High School. A three-star recruit ranked No. 5 at his position in Ohio and No. 34 nationally by national outlets, McCutchan was named GCL South Tight End of the Year in both his junior and senior seasons. During his final two prep years, he accumulated 899 yards and 14 touchdowns. As a senior, he caught 32 passes for 365 yards and seven touchdowns, then advanced to the OHSAA State Championship game.
