George Burhenn is a 6'5", 245-pound tight end from McColdsville, Indiana, who attended Mt. Vernon High School as a consensus three-star prospect. He appeared in 11 games during his 2023 freshman season, making one start against Indiana and hauling in five catches for 74 yards in that contest, including a 33-yard touchdown reception. As a sophomore in 2024, Burhenn appeared in four games and recorded one catch for three yards against Indiana State. In 2025, he appeared in the first four games before missing the remainder due to injury, finishing with nine receptions for 94 yards on a long of 21 yards. Burhenn has been named Academic All-Big Ten in both 2023 and 2024.
