Luca Puccinelli is a 6'6" tight end from Glen Allen, Virginia who attended Benedictine High School, where he was rated a three-star recruit and named the No. 26 tight end prospect by national outlets. As a high school senior, he caught 10 passes for 120 yards and three touchdowns while helping his team accumulate 2,500 rushing yards. Puccinelli redshirted his freshman season at Wake Forest in 2024 before transferring to Purdue. In 2025, he appeared in three games for the Boilermakers, recording three receptions for 24 yards with a long of 17 yards in the season finale against Indiana on November 28.
