DJ Mazzone is a quarterback for the North Carolina Tar Heels. The 6'0", 175-pound signal caller from Atlanta, GA attended IMG Academy, where he was a four-year varsity quarterback and member of the 2023 National Championship team. He earned a state championship as a freshman in Georgia Class AAAA and served as a team captain in football and golf. Mazzone arrived on campus in January 2024 as a true freshman but did not appear in a game during his first season.
