Ian Flynt is a 6'4", 265-pound tight end from Katy, Texas, who attended Taylor High School before joining NC State in May 2025. He previously spent the 2024 season at Nebraska, where he appeared in one game and redshirted. At Taylor, Flynt caught 10 passes for 129 yards and two touchdowns as a junior, then recorded six receptions for 140 yards as a senior while earning all-district honors in both years. He also competed in track and field, winning meets in shot put and discus as a sophomore. Flynt was a three-star recruit ranked among the nation's top 20 tight ends by national outlets and recognized as the No. 1 tight end in Texas.
