Brody Barnhardt is a safety for NC State who joined the Pack in January 2024 as a freshman and redshirted that season. At Providence Day School in Cornelius, North Carolina, Barnhardt accumulated 2,726 all-purpose yards, 339 total tackles, 14 interceptions, and 25 pass breakups over his high school career. He earned first-team all-state honors three times and was named NC Defensive Back of the Year in 2022. As a redshirt sophomore in 2025, Barnhardt recorded 23 total tackles with 11 solo tackles and 0.5 tackles for loss.
