Asaad Brown Jr. is a 6'0", 199-pound nickelback for NC State wearing jersey No. 6. A three-star recruit from the 2024 class, Brown joined the Wolfpack in January 2024 and appeared in three games during his freshman year—at Cal, UNC, and versus Stanford—primarily on special teams. He transferred to Mt. Zion Prep Academy for his senior year after playing at Oscar Smith High School, where he recorded 46 tackles, 6.5 sacks, 9.5 tackles for loss, five forced fumbles, and two pass breakups. In 2025, Brown registered 64 total tackles, 39 solo tackles, one interception, and two pass deflections. He returns to the field as a redshirt sophomore for the 2026 season.
