Joshua Switzer is a safety for the Navy Midshipmen standing 5'10" and weighing 188 pounds. A 2023 graduate of Ardrey Kell High School in Charlotte, North Carolina, he earned all-conference honors twice and was named SoMECK Defensive Player of the Year as a senior. He did not appear in varsity action during his 2023 freshman season. In 2024, he saw action in two games. During the 2025 season opener against VMI, Switzer played 12 snaps. Now a senior, he majors in ocean engineering and maintains a 3.99 grade-point average.
