Phillip Hamilton is a junior free safety for Navy who stands 5'10" and weighs 175 pounds. A 2023 graduate of Centennial High School in Fort Worth, Texas, Hamilton joined Navy after attending the Naval Academy Prep School. In 2024, his freshman year, he appeared in all games on special teams and recorded his first career tackle at UAB. During the 2025 season, Hamilton started all 13 contests and recorded 49 tackles, 3 interceptions for 28 yards, 2 pass breakups, and 2 forced fumbles. He was named American Conference Defensive Player of the Week following Navy's victory over South Florida, where he tallied 7 tackles and a 27-yard interception return. Hamilton earned Duke Cannon Defensive Player of the Game honors in the Army-Navy contest after an interception with 11 minutes left in the fourth quarter.
