Carson de Avila is a safety for Navy, standing 6'0" and weighing 190 pounds. The Newport Beach, California native graduated from Newport Harbor High School in 2023, where he earned three football letters and was named First-Team All-Sunset League as a sophomore, junior, and senior. As a senior, he received First-Team All-Orange County honors and was recognized as the Sunset League's defensive MVP and Daily Pilot's defensive player of the year. De Avila helped lead his high school team to a CIF-SS Division Six title and a Division 3-AA regional final appearance during his junior year. He has not appeared in varsity action through his first three seasons at Navy and enters 2026 as a senior.
