Matthew Seliga is a safety for Navy from Cincinnati, Ohio, where he attended Archbishop Moeller High School. A 2023 high school graduate, Seliga redshirted in 2023 before seeing action primarily on special teams in 2024 and 2025. In 2024, his first year of competition, he recorded 12 tackles and forced a fumble across all 13 games, including a career-high 3 tackles against Temple and Notre Dame. During the 2025 season, Seliga appeared in 12 contests and registered 3 total tackles, with a pair coming in the season-opening win over VMI. Now a senior, he continues as a returning contributor to Navy's defensive unit.
