Colin Hansen is a defensive lineman for the Minnesota Golden Gophers standing 6'7" and weighing 250 pounds. The Byron, Minnesota native attended Byron High School, where he recorded 44 tackles, 11 tackles for loss, and six sacks as a senior, earning First-Team All-State honors from the Minnesota Football Coaches Association and the Minnesota Vikings.
