Karter Menz is a 6'5", 240-pound rusher from Horace, North Dakota, who attended West Fargo Sheyenne High School. A consensus three-star recruit, Menz redshirted in 2023 before appearing in five games during his 2024 freshman season. In 2025, his sophomore year, he played in all 13 games and recorded 32 tackles, 6.5 sacks, and nine tackles for loss. He also broke up two passes and recovered one fumble. Menz has earned Academic All-Big Ten honors in both 2024 and 2025 and returns as a redshirt junior.
