Jaxon Howard is a 6'4", 250-pound rusher from Crystal, Minnesota, who attended Robbinsdale Cooper High School before enrolling at LSU in 2023. He redshirted that season, appearing in five games and recording two tackles while primarily contributing on special teams. Howard transferred to Minnesota in June 2024 and played in 10 games as a freshman, posting nine tackles. In 2025, he appeared in all 13 contests, accumulating 29 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, and four sacks. He earned Academic All-Big Ten honors that year and is currently a redshirt junior.
