Anthony Charles is a true freshman defensive lineman for the Minnesota Golden Gophers from Pittsburgh, PA. Charles attended South Fayette High School, where he earned first-team all-conference honors as a senior and second-team all-state as a junior. Over his final two seasons, he compiled 22.5 tackles for loss, 11.5 sacks, 4 forced fumbles, and a safety. As a senior, Charles recorded 51 tackles with 13.5 TFLs and 5.5 sacks.
