Kru Casey is a 6'0", 225-pound inside linebacker for Georgia Southern. The true freshman from St. Augustine, FL, attended Nease High School, where he earned first-team all-state honors at the 6A level as a senior. That season, Casey recorded 33 tackles for loss and 21 sacks across 12 games, leading the 6A classification in sacks while ranking 18th nationally and fifth statewide. He also added two forced fumbles, a fumble recovery, and an interception. Casey was named St. John's County Defensive Player of the Year and made the Jaguars All-Prep 25 Team.
