Luke Averell is a 6'4", 260-pound defensive lineman for the Fresno State Bulldogs. The Ladera Ranch, California native attended San Juan Hills High School, where he recorded 55 tackles and six sacks while earning all-league honors at his position. Averell spent one season at Saddleback College, appearing in 12 games and compiling 21 tackles, four sacks, and 6.0 tackles for loss totaling 22 yards. Now a sophomore, he returns to Fresno State's defensive line after choosing the program for its culture and coaching staff.
