Auckland Asiata is a 6'3", 285-pound defensive lineman from Yuba City, California, who attended Sutter Union High School. A three-year starter and letterwinner, he recorded 72 tackles and 17.0 tackles for loss as a senior in 2023, adding 8.0 sacks and 29 hurries. Asiata verbally committed to Fresno State on May 19, 2023, becoming the program's second commit in the 2024 class. As a true freshman in 2024, he appeared in 10 games with one start against NIU in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl, posting six tackles, 1.5 TFL, and 0.5 sacks. He earned Academic All-MW honors. In 2025, Asiata appeared in three games before sustaining a season-ending injury, including a start at Oregon State on September 6.
