Mordecai Hines is a 6'4", 290-pound right defensive tackle from Palmdale, California who attended Highland High School. In 2023, he appeared in three games and redshirted. During his redshirt freshman year in 2024, he saw action in four games, recording eight tackles, 2.0 tackles for loss, and 1.5 sacks before suffering a season-ending injury. In 2025, Hines appeared in eight games as a sophomore, tallying five tackles and 2.0 tackles for loss. He posted a career-high three tackles against Utah State on November 22.
