Wilhelm Daal II is a running back who transferred to Duke from Yale, where he played four seasons (2022–2025). At Yale, Daal carried the ball 98 times for 523 yards and three touchdowns while recording 11 receptions for 51 yards and one kickoff return for 17 yards across 25 games. He helped the Bulldogs compile a 31–11 overall record and 21–7 mark in Ivy League play, contributing to Ivy League championships in 2022, 2023, and 2025. Yale made the FCS playoffs in 2025, advancing to the second round before losing 21–13 to Montana State. Daal, who attended The Taft School in Amityville, NY, stands 6'1" and weighs 215 pounds.
