CJ Campbell Jr. is a graduate transfer running back from Rutgers who stands 5'10" and weighs 200 pounds. Originally from Kaplan, Louisiana, he attended Bay High School in Florida before beginning his college career at Florida State in 2021. Campbell spent three seasons with the Seminoles, appearing in 16 games and helping Florida State to a 13-1 record, ACC title, and Capital One Orange Bowl appearance in 2022. He subsequently transferred to Florida Atlantic in 2024 and Rutgers in 2025. Across 31 career games with 12 starts, Campbell compiled 212 carries for 1,144 yards and 14 rushing touchdowns, plus 41 receptions for 469 yards and three receiving scores. In 2024, he earned Third Team All-American Athletic Conference honors. Campbell is pursuing a master of management studies at Duke's Fuqua School of Business.
